PACKED SAUSAGES IN POTATO
These sausages wrapped in potato are an excellent appetizer. Although something delicate at the time of frying because, like everything that carries potato dough, tends to get rid during frying. Therefore, this must be very brief. But these potato-wrapped sausages are a fun way to make an appetizer more. With very few ingredients, we will get a lot more of them.
INGREDIENTS TO MAKE 40 POTATOED SAUSAGES IN POTATO
- 8 frankfurter sausages (hot dog)
- 1kg of potatoes
- 100g grated cheese
- 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- salt and pepper
- Oil
RECIPE OF POTATO SAUSAGES WRAPPED IN POTATO:
1.- Cook the potatoes. For this we cover them with water, put them on the fire and let them cook here for about 25 minutes. Until you can stick a fork or knife and it enters and leaves without any difficulty
2.- Cut the sausages into taquitos. I cut each of them into 5 pieces of approximately the same size
3.- When the potatoes are cooked, drain them from the water and let them cool. Once done, we remove the skin and chop them. We put them in a bowl
4.- Add the cheese, the bread crumbs, the oregano, the salt, the pepper and the crushed all the ingredients with a fork.
5.- We take a small portion of the dough and crush it. In the middle we put one of the cut sausages, we wrap it with the dough and we give it a ball shape or, a shape similar to the sausage (elongated). We reserve on a plate until we have done all
6.- Once done, we freeze them for 30 minutes
7.- Fry in plenty of hot oil. We do it in small batches. Remember not to leave them for more than 30 seconds so they do not burst in the oil. Long enough for the potato to be golden brown. The sausage is already cooked !!
These potato-wrapped sausages are ready. A fun snack for the whole family!
